Europe
Europe
My experiences of Europe span decades of remarkable change. When I first began exploring the continent, it was divided into East and West. Visiting the East while it was still primarily communist was fascinating — cities like East Berlin and Prague were full of history, contrast, and a certain menacing intensity. Over the years, I watched Europe transform, borders shift, and barriers disappear. Today, the continent feels far more interconnected, yet every country retains its own distinct character. In more recent times, my work has taken me across both Eastern Europe — Poland and Hungary — and Western Europe — France, Germany, and Italy — allowing me to witness and photograph the beauty, diversity, and enduring stories that make Europe endlessly captivating.
