Travel

Travel has been at the heart of my life and my photography. Over the decades, I’ve been fortunate to live, work, and explore in many parts of the world — from the streets of Edinburgh to the deserts of Mongolia, the islands of Indonesia to the cities of Europe and North America. Each place offered something unique: landscapes, architecture, colour, light, culture, and, above all, people. When I first started traveling, Europe was divided into East and West, Asia was largely unknown to me, and photography required careful thought and planning. Over the years, technology, accessibility, and my own experiences have changed how I see and capture the world. I have witnessed continents transform, cultures evolve, and cities expand — all while trying to preserve, through my lens, the beauty, story, and emotion of each place. For me, travel photography is more than landscapes or architecture; it is about connection — to people, to history, to light, and to the moments that make each journey unforgettable. These images are a reflection of the world as I have experienced it, and a record of a life shaped by curiosity, movement, and discovery.
